AQUASCAN 6500 connects to
any laptop PC
The correlator unit connects to the serial port of a
laptop PC and automatically converts the laptop into a powerful,
advanced leak correlator.
AQUASCAN 6500 is very easy to use
The correlator is supplied with an easy-to-use Windows-compatible
software. After deploying the sensors, the user simply keys in
the distance between the sensors, the pipe material and the pipe
diameter and then starts the correlation.
High locating precision
The measuring resolution of 16,000 points allows a very
accurate pinpointing (locating precision better than 1 cm per
100 m, or 1" per 1,000 ft).
Enhanced performance on PVC and MDPE pipes
While plastic pipes are often a problem for conventional
correlators, the AQUASCAN 6500 has enhanced capabilities for more
difficult, low noise and low frequency leaks.
Detailed on-screen information allows to
adjust settings
With a simple mouse-click the user can pop-up additional
windows displaying all details of the leak noise and frequency
analysis. This allows the user to fine-tune all the standard settings
to the specific conditions of any measurement, such as the filter
setting to eliminate disturbing ambient noises.
Multi peak suppression eliminates interfering
noise sources
The AQUASCAN 6500 also offers the possibility to suppress any
correlation peak caused by disturbing non-leak sources, such as
water consumption.
Automatic computation of the sound velocity
The AQUASCAN 6500 is capable of calculating the real
sound velocity of a pipe section where the material or diameter
is unknown.
Large memory
The number of stored correlations is limited only by
the capacity of the hard disk of the laptop. All necessary correlation
data including FFT and coherence is memorized, permitting subsequent
off-site re-correlation of the measurements with new or changed
parameters.
Comprehensive report and immediate print-out
A comprehensive report of the leak detection can be printed out
on site, including a drawing of the site-plan with just a few
simple mouse-clicks.
